Closure of OU Colleges

          The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide GO Rt. No. 856 dated 3.12.2009 have issued orders for the closure of all Universities and colleges in the Telangana region from 4.12.2009 to 18.12.2009 in the wake of ongoing agitation by the students.

          In pursuance of the said State Government orders, all the Campus, Constituent and Affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of Osmania University will remain closed from 4.12.2009 to 18.12.2009.  However, the Hostels on the campus and at constituent colleges will remain open. 

          In the light of closure of all colleges, it has been decided to further postpone all the University examinations instead of rescheduling them from 7.12.2009 as notified earlier. The revised dates of all the postponed examinations of the University will be announced later. The new schedule of examinations will be displayed in the University website www.osmania.ac.in.
